	Australia reach first World Mixed Doubles semi-final, along with Sweden, Canada and United States
	Sweden, United States, Canada and, for the first time ever, Australia, have all reached the semi-finals of the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2019, in Stavanger, Norway.  To do so, Sweden beat Czech Republic by 8-3, a victory that was sealed with a score of four points in the seventh end, when Sweden used their Power Play.

	After losing to Spain in the round robin, Russia made strategic adjustments to win 8-5 when they met again in this afternoon's second session of last 16 games at the World Mixed Doubles Curlnig Championship 2019 in the SOrmarka Arena, in Stavanger, Norway.  They have now advanced to the quarter-finals along with Canada, United States and Estonia.

	The play-off stage of the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2019 got underway on Friday morning at the SOmarka Arena with the first session of last 16 games. Advancing to the quarter finals after winning this morning are Australia, Sweden, Japan and Czech Republic.  “We're just over the moon,” said Australia's Tahli Gill.
