Na dvoch podujatiach aj so slovenskými tímami

Svetový curling čaká v prvom polroku 2023 bohatý program, na dvoch podujatiach sa predstavia aj slovenskí hráči. Ako prví zasiahnu do bojov naši vozičkári, ktorí sa v Kanade zúčastnia majstrovstiev sveta párov (4. - 12. marca). Na konci sezóny sa slovenské reprezentantky predstavia na európskom šampionáte céčka v Škótsku (29. apríla - 6. mája).

Russia back to winning ways while Canada stay unbeaten

Canada kept their unbeaten record alive with an 8-4 win over Korea in Wednesday afternoon's 13th round-robin session at the Ford World Women's Curling Championship 2018 in North Bay, Canada. Other winners in this session were United States over China, Denmark, who beat Italy with the last stone of the game and Russia who beat Czech Republic.

Competition for play-off places heightens in North Bay

Sweden recorded their eighth win of the Ford World Women's Curling Championship 2018 in North Bay, Canada, beating Germany by 8-4 in Wednesday morning's 12th round-robin session to stay undefeated at the top of the table and move within touching distance of guaranteeing a play-off slot.

Canada and Sweden remain untouched at world championship

Both Canada and Sweden added another game to the win column after Tuesday's (20 March) evening session at the Ford World Women's Curling Championship 2018 in North Bay, Canada and continue as the only undefeated teams. The Canadian's were pushed to the end in a battle against Scotland, where they managed to steal one point in the tenth end to win the game 8-6.

Sweden go top and Germany record first win at round-robin halfway point

Tuesday (20 March) afternoon's tenth session marked the halfway point in the round-robin stage of the Ford World Women's Curling Championship 2018 in North Bay, Canada and Sweden's 8-6 win over Czech Republic restored the Olympic champions to top spot on the rankings with what was their sixth win.

Scotland debutants get first world championship win

Canada's win over Denmark in Tuesday (20 March) morning's ninth session of round-robin play at the Ford World Women's Championship 2018 in North Bay, Canada, put them back in joint top spot along with Sweden, who sat the session out. Meanwhile, Scotland and Germany went head-to-head in this session searching for their first win, which Scotland achieve, by 8-5.
