Slovenskí reprezentanti prehrali vo svojom prvom vystúpení na ME B vo Švédsku s Ukrajinou 2:13. O osude zápasu rozhodol prvý end, v ktorom dal súper šestku. „Skočili na nás, nechytili sme začiatok zápasu a odvtedy sme sa snažili doťahovať," povedal skip nášho tímu Jakub Byzon Jurkovič. V druhom ende naši hráči znížili na 1:6 a šancu mali aj v ďalšom. „V treťom ende sme mali prichystanú dvojku na ukradnutie, ale presný súperov skip nám milimetrovým kameňom zobral aj tento end. Zajtra máme nový deň, ďalší zápas, ideme sa pobiť," dodal náš kapitán. Slovákov čaká v nedeľu od 16.00 Izrael.
