Vo Švajčiarsku aj so slovenskou účasťou

Slovenská dvojica Janko Horáček, Paula Hajduk skončila cez víkend 12. - 14. augusta na turnaji 1. WCT Argovia MD Masters vo švajčiarskom Badene v C-skupine na 5. mieste a do ďalších bojov nepostúpila. Naši reprezentanti s bilanciou 0:4 odohrali najvyrovnanejšie zápasy v 1. a 4. kole, ktoré zhodne prehrali o 3 body (Schmid, Risi 6:9, Regza, Regza 3:6). 
Víťazom turnaja sa stal v domácom finále tím Martin Rios, Jenny Perret, ktorý vo finále zdolal dvojicu Kevin Wunderlin, Daniela Rupp 7:6. Bronz získal český pár Tomáš a Zuzana Paulovi.

Japan and United States keep Olympic Winter Games play-off hopes alive

Both Japan and United States came up with wins to stay in play-off contention in Tuesday night's session ten of round-robin play at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. In a must-win battle, United States defeated Switzerland 8-4, for their fourth win, to keep their hopes of a semi-final place alive.

Historic first Olympic semi-final place for Korea

With a 9-6 win over United States in Tuesday afternoon's tenth session of women's round-robin play at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, Korea became the first women's team to qualify for the semi-finals and the only Korean team to do so in Olympic history. In other games in this session, Great Britain beat Japan by 8-6 and China were 7-5 winners over Canada.
