V Číne zlato pre Talianov, Švédov a Škótky

Senzačným víťazstvom Talianska sa v Pekingu na ZOH skončila súťaž v mixed doubles. Dvojica Amos Mosaner, Stefania Constantini nenašla premožiteľa ani v jednom z deviatich zápasov v základnej časti a takisto nezavãhala ani v play off. Taliani najskôr v semifinále zdolali Švédsko 8:1 a vo finále zvíťazili nad Nórskom 8:5. V súťaži mužov sa zo zlatých medailí tešili Švédi, medzi ženami triumfovali Škótky.

Hralo sa v hale Ice Cube, ktorá bola ako Vodná kocka dejiskom plaveckých a potápačských súťaží na olympijských hrách v roku 2008.

Silkeborg, Denmark to host World Women's Curling Championship 2019

The World Women's Curling Championship 2019 will be held in the Silkeborg Sportscenter, in Silkeborg, Denmark from 16 to 24 March 2019. This news comes just two days after Denmark's women's and men's teams qualified for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games at the Olympic Qualification Event 2017 in Pilsen, Czech Republic.

Denmark men are final curling team into 2018 Olympic Winter Games

Denmark's men grabbed the last available slot in the line-up for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games after a 4-2 win over the Czech hosts in Sunday (10 December) evening's sudden-death qualification game at curling's Olympic Qualification Event 2017, in Pilsen, Czech Republic. This game was close all the way, with never more than two points between the teams.

Denmark women secure place at 2018 Olympic Winter Games

Denmark became the final women's team to qualify for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games when they beat Italy by 5-4 in the extra end of the last women's qualification game at the Olympic Qualification Event 2017 taking place in Pilsen, Czech Republic.

Italy men bound for Olympic Winter Games 2018 in PyeongChang, Korea

Italy became the first men's team to qualify for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games from the Olympic Qualification Event 2017, being staged in Pilsen, Czech Republic, when they beat Denmark by 6-5 in the first qualification game on Sunday (10 December) morning.
