Prvá liga mužov a žien

Začiatok najvyššej súťaže cez víkend od 18. do 19. marca

Slovenský curlingový zväz oznamuje, že Prvá liga mužov a Prvá liga žien sa začne hrať cez víkend od 18. do 19. marca. Štartovné pre mužov je 200 eur, pre ženy 150 eur. SCZ takisto ako pri tréningoch výrazne zadotuje všetky kluby. Ženy budú hrať dvojkolovým systémom, muži jednokolovým. Všetky tímy musia záväzne do utorka 7. marca vypísať mailom na office@curling.sk súpisky s minimálne 4 a maximálne 10 hráčmi. Program zápasov je zverejnený v sekcii Súťaže.
Program víkendov 
18. - 19. marca Prvá liga mužov, Prvá liga žien
25, . 26. marca Prvá liga žien, finále
1. - 2. apríla Prvá liga mužov, základná časť, semifinále
15. - 16. apríla Majstrovstvá SR  mixed doubles
29. - 30. apríla Prvá liga mužov, finále

Silkeborg, Denmark to host World Women's Curling Championship 2019

The World Women's Curling Championship 2019 will be held in the Silkeborg Sportscenter, in Silkeborg, Denmark from 16 to 24 March 2019. This news comes just two days after Denmark's women's and men's teams qualified for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games at the Olympic Qualification Event 2017 in Pilsen, Czech Republic.

This game was close all the way, with never more than two points between the teams.

Italy became the first men's team to qualify for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games from the Olympic Qualification Event 2017, being staged in Pilsen, Czech Republic, when they beat Denmark by 6-5 in the first qualification game on Sunday (10 December) morning.
