Našich curlingistov čaká do konca roka nabitý program

Slovenských curlingistov čaká do konca roka náročný program, keď sa predstavia na piatich vrcholných podujatiach. Ako prvá zasiahne do bojov reprezentácia mixov, ktorú čakajú majstrovstvá sveta v škótskom Aberdeene. Svoje tohtoročné vrcholy budú mať aj vozičkári, reprezentačné tímy mužov, žien a párov, ako aj družstvo junioriek.
Program vrcholných podujatí s účasťou Slovákov
MS mixov, 15. - 22. októbra v Aberdeene (Škótsko)
MS B vozičkárov, 4. - 10. novembra v Lohje (Fínsko)
ME B mužov a žien,19. - 26. novembra v Östersunde (Švédsko)
Kvalifikácia MS párov, 3. - 7. decembra v Dumfries (Škótsko)
MS B juniorov, 8. - 19. decembra v Lohje (Fínsko)

Scotland beat Sweden by 6-3 in Saturday (25 November) morning's women's final in St Gallen, Switzerland to become 2017 Le GruyEre AOP European Curling champions. When they came onto the ice for this game, Sweden were undefeated so far in their campaign this week and looking to go one better than the silver they took at the 2016 championship.

The Italian women beat Switzerland by 7-6 to give skip Diana Gaspari her first medal in 11 years, while the Swiss men emerged as 6-5 winners over Norway.

In the women's gold medal game, the Finns edged a Latvia team who produced a strong comeback having been 7-1 down after four ends, to level the game 7-7 after nine ends.
