Skvelý úspech slovenského páru v Kanade

Výborný úspech dosiahol na turnaji Walker Industries v meste Arthur v kanadskej provincii Ontario slovenský pár Paula Hajduk, Janko Horáček, keď skončili na 5. mieste. Slováci sa zaskveli už v úvodnom zápase triumfom nad neskoršími víťazmi turnaja Scottom McDonaldom, Laurou Neil (Kanada) 6:3 a potom aj hladkým víťazstvom nad ďalším skúseným domácim párom Samuel Giulbeault, Jenny Medden 7:1. Našu dvojicu zastavil až vo štvrťfinále strieborný medailista z Pankontinentálnych majstrovstiev 2022 Jiyoon Kim s Jin Jeong (J. Kórea), ktorí nakoniec obsadili druhé miesto.
Slovenský pár šokoval aj v príprave, keď zdolal majstrov Kanady do 25 rokov Zheng, Pietrangelo 10:6. Našich reprezentantov už o týždeň na ich kanadskom turné čaká ďalší turnaj v meste Cambridge. Držíme palce :)

Sweden and Scotland into Le GruyEre AOP European Curling Championships 2017 final

European defending champions Sweden will face Scotland in Saturday's (25 November) final of the Le GruyEre AOP European Curling Championships 2017, in St Gallen, Switzerland. In the semi-finals, Sweden won 8-3 against Norway and Scotland had a 9-8 victory over host Switzerland, on Thursday (23 November) evening.

Spain's rise has been a curling feel-good story over the last few years. Both their men and women's teams won gold medals in Palau de Gel d'Andorra, Andorra, at the European Curling Championships C-Division earlier this year to qualify for the B-Division.

With the four semi-finalists already determined – Sweden, Switzerland, Scotland and Italy – the focus was on the relegation battles in Thursday (23 November) afternoon's last session of women's round-robin play at the Le GruyEre AOP European Curling Championships 2017, in St Gallen, Switzerland.
