Australia's men's team has qualified for the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017 semi-finals, being held in the Erina Ice Arena, on Australia's Central Coast, despite losing their latest men's round-robin game to Japan. Also, Kazakhstan men won their first game of the event, after a close battle with Hong Kong. That game finished 9-8.
