Japan women secure first win

Japan's women's team picked up their first win at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017 on Saturday (4 November) morning in the Erina Ice Arena, on Australia's Central Coast. Coming into the session, Japan sat at the bottom of the rankings with a 0-2 record and they faced New Zealand, also looking for their first win.

Multiple wins for China on Friday night in Australia

China's women's and men's teams both played and won on Friday (3 November) evening at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017, being held in Erina Ice Arena, Australia. The Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017 got underway on Thursday (2 November) evening, in Erina Ice Arena, situated in Australia's Central Coast, with the host Member Association beginning the event with a win. Following an opening ceremony, which saw State Member of Parliament, Adam Crouch, deliver the ceremonial first stone, action began in the men's championship.
