Vrcholom budú Zimné olympijské hry v Pekingu

Slovenský curlingový zväz praje všetkým členom príjemné prežitie vianočných sviatkov, veľa šťastia, zdravia a úspechov v novom roku 2022. Tento rok poznačila pandémia a boli zrušené všetky súťaže slovenskej ligy. Na reprezentačnej úrovni sa darilo tímu mužov, ktorý si na ME v Ženeve vybojoval postup do B-kategórie. Na ME v Lillehammeri potvrdil formu a takisto ako reprezentácia žien si udržal účasť v béčku. Naši hráči boli aj v hre o ZOH v Pekingu, v tureckom Erzurume si však muži, ženy ani dably postup nevybojovali. V budúcom roku bude pre slovenský curling vrcholom marcová paralympiáda, kde sa zúčastní tím pod vedením Radka Ďuriša.

Japan women secure first win

Japan's women's team picked up their first win at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017 on Saturday (4 November) morning in the Erina Ice Arena, on Australia's Central Coast. Coming into the session, Japan sat at the bottom of the rankings with a 0-2 record and they faced New Zealand, also looking for their first win.

Multiple wins for China on Friday night in Australia

China's women's and men's teams both played and won on Friday (3 November) evening at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017, being held in Erina Ice Arena, Australia. With the six women's teams playing a double round-robin at these championships, China and hosts Australia went head-to-head in the only women's game of the session.

Korea's women's team opened their Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017 campaign with two wins on Friday (3 November), as the women's event got underway in the Erina Ice Arena, on Australia's Central Coast.

Australia, Japan and Korea men win again and women's championship begins

The men's teams of the hosts Australia, defending champions Japan and Korea all recorded their second wins at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017, in Erina Ice Arena, Australia, after the second session of play on Friday (3 November) morning. Also, the first women's game of the event took place between Japan and Korea.

Australia commence home Pacific-Asia Curling Championships with win

The Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2017 got underway on Thursday (2 November) evening, in Erina Ice Arena, situated in Australia's Central Coast, with the host Member Association beginning the event with a win. Following an opening ceremony, which saw State Member of Parliament, Adam Crouch, deliver the ceremonial first stone, action began in the men's championship.
