Súťaž žien začne v utorok od 17.00, súťaž mužov v stredu

Prvá liga mužov a Prvá liga žien sa začína tento týždeň tromi predohrávkami. Ako prvé na štadióne V. Dzurillu v Bratislave do bojov zasiahnu ženy, keď si v utorok 14. marca zmerajú sily 1. CC Bratislava II a juniorský tím Heracles (rozhodca Kocian). Tréning je od 17.00, zápas od 17.15 hod. Súťaž mužov sa začne dvomi predohrávkami, v stredu od 17.00 sa stretnú tímy Gentlemen a Stonehunters (rozhodca Horáček) a vo štvrtok v rovnakom čase Spirit a Gentlemen (rozhodca Horáček). Prvá liga mužov a Prvá liga žien pokračujú prvými kolami cez víkend 18. a 19. marca. Všetci diváci majú vstup na súťaže zadarmo. Víťazi ligy získajú právo reprezentovať Slovensko na majstrovstvách Európy.

Canada, Czech Republic, Norway and Scotland make the final four

The Quarter-final games of the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 were played this evening (Friday 13 October) and saw Canada, Czech Republic, Norway and Scotland become the final four remaining in the competition. In the first live broadcast game of the championship Canada faced Russia, both teams undefeated prior to meeting. Canada would go on to defeat Russia 9-1 after only six ends.

Play-offs begin with Last 16 stage

The play-offs of the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 began this morning (Friday 13 October) with two sessions of Last 16 play in ChampEry, Switzerland. In the morning's opening session Russia defeated Israel 6-3. After blanking the first end, Russia would go on to score 3 points in the second end and steal two further points in the third end.

Play-off places set after the final round-robin session

The round-robin stage at the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 drew to a close this evening (Thursday 12 October) and saw the play-off teams finalised after a tense final session of play. The final session was dominated by Group D teams, five of whom started the session tied for first place in the group on 4-2 records.

USA secure play-off place after double extra-end win; Russia and Sweden stay undefeated

The final day of the round-robin stage at the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 got underway in ChampEry, Switzerland this morning (Thursday 12 October) and saw USA claim the final guaranteed play-off place from Group B while Russia and Sweden went undefeated throughout the round-robin stage.

China, Hungary, Korea, Scotland and Turkey qualify for the play-offs

Day six of the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 saw five more teams confirm their place in the play-offs and saw a first win of the week for France. After the early evening session results China and Turkey secured their places in the play-offs before their next games.
