The Quarter-final games of the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 were played this evening (Friday 13 October) and saw Canada, Czech Republic, Norway and Scotland become the final four remaining in the competition. In the first live broadcast game of the championship Canada faced Russia, both teams undefeated prior to meeting. Canada would go on to defeat Russia 9-1 after only six ends.

The play-offs of the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 began this morning (Friday 13 October) with two sessions of Last 16 play in ChampEry, Switzerland. In the morning's opening session Russia defeated Israel 6-3. After blanking the first end, Russia would go on to score 3 points in the second end and steal two further points in the third end.

The round-robin stage at the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 drew to a close this evening (Thursday 12 October) and saw the play-off teams finalised after a tense final session of play. The final session was dominated by Group D teams, five of whom started the session tied for first place in the group on 4-2 records.

Day six of the World Mixed Curling Championship 2017 saw five more teams confirm their place in the play-offs and saw a first win of the week for France. After the early evening session results China and Turkey secured their places in the play-offs before their next games.
