Finále 1.ligy mužov - 10. titul pre CC Poprad

Prvá liga mužov mala na programe súboje o majstra Slovenska. Titul obhájil tím CC Poprad, ktorý vo finále zdolal Martin 2:1 na zápasy. Bronz získal 1. CC Gentlemen, na 4. mieste skončili Juniori.


Semifinále: Poprad - Gentlemen 12:9 (2, -2, 6, -2, -2, -1, -1, 4, -1), Martin - Juniori 7:5 (0, -3, 1, 1, 1, 1, -1, 2, -1, 1)
Druhé zápasy: Poprad - Gentlemen 9:3 (1, 2, -1, 1, 3, -2, 2), Martin - Juniori 7:5 (-2, 3, 1, -2, 1, 0, 0, -1, 0, 2)
O bronz: Gentlemen - Juniori 9:6 (2, -3, 2, -2, 1, 2, -1, 2!
Finále: Poprad - Martin 5:4 (0, 1, 0, -1, -1, 2, 1, 1, 0, -2)

Japan become the first team to qualify for the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's play-offs

Japan beat Scotland by 8-6 in Wednesday evening's 14th round-robin session of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019, to share top spot with Sweden, who beat Canada by 9-4 in the same session. This result, and Japan's superior win-loss record against the other top contenders, means that Japan become the first qualifiers for the weekend play-off games.
