Svetový šampionát sa koná 23. - 30. apríla vo Švajčiarsku

Slovensko na svetovom šampionáte v Ženeve reprezentoval tím Adara v zložení Milan Bubeník, Ľubomír Malý, Peter Mocek, Daniel Sýkora a Karol Pospíchal. Naši reprezentanti sa v základnej skupine stretli s Kanadou, Tureckom, Austráliou, Fínskom, USA a Talianskom. Po šiestich prehrách do ďalších bojov nepostúpili. Skvelý úspech dosiahlo Česko, ktoré si pod vedením skipa Davida Šika vybojovalo strieborné medaily. Zlato získala Kanada (skip Wade White), ktorá vo finále zvíťazila nad Českom 6:3.

This result, and Japan's superior win-loss record against the other top contenders, means that Japan become the first qualifiers for the weekend play-off games.
