S účasťou slovenskej dvojice Janko Horáček, Paulína Hajduková sa v Poľsku uskutočnila ďalšia časť svetovej série WCT. Víťazom turnaja sa stal švajčiarsky pár Rupp, Wunderlin, ktorý vo finále zdolal estónsky tím Kaldvee, Lill 10:4. Bronz získali ďalší Švajčiari Perret Rios.

Netherlands defeat Olympic champions in Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men’s opening session

In Saturday afternoon's opening round-robin session of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada, Netherlands beat Olympic champions, United States by 6-5. Other winners were hosts Canada, who took an extra end to beat Korea by 6-5; Japan, who had a 6-4 win over Italy; and Scotland who beat Russia by 8-2 in eight ends.

Highest ever position for Pacific-Asia team in latest women’s World Rankings

Following the LGT World Women’s Curling Championship 2019 the latest women’s curling World Rankings have been published. Kore has climbed four places to second position. This is the highest world ranking for a Pacific-Asia team since the world rankings were introduced in 2006.

Aberdeen, Scotland selected to host World Mixed Curling Championship 2019

The World Mixed Curling Championship 2019 will be held in Curl Aberdeen, in Aberdeen, Scotland from 12 to 19 October. This appointment comes a year after the same venue hosted the World Junior Curling Championships 2018.
