Slováci v generálke na ME s tromi prehrami

Slovenský tím CC Martin skončil na prestížnom turnaji Swiss Cup v Bazileji na 20. mieste. Náš majster prehral vo svojom prvom vystúpení s vicemajstrom Európy spred troch rokov Yannickom Schwallerom tesne 3:5. Slováci v druhom kole nestačili na Škóta Waddella 1:8 a potom aj na Taliana Ribottu 3:5. Na turnaji s absolútnou svetovou špičkou (Škótom Mouatom, Nórom Walstadom, Talianom Retornazom či Američanom Smithom) sa stal víťazom Škót Whyte, ktorý vo finále zdolal Nóra Ramsfjella 6:5.

China, Japan and Switzerland claim remaining LGT World Women's play-off places

After Friday afternoon's second-last round-robin session of the LGT World Women's Curling Championship 2019 in Silkeborg, Denmark, all six qualifiers for the weekend play-off games have been determined. Before this session, table-topping Sweden, Korea and Russia had already qualified. With a 5-4 win over United States, Switzerland joined them.

Friday is the last day of round-robin action at the LGT World Women's Curling Championship 2019 in Silkeborg, Denmark. Korea came on to face Latvia in the morning's eighteenth session, knowing that a victory would guarantee them a place in the weekend's play-off games.

World Curling Technical Commission appointed with ‘outstanding' ice remit

The World Curling Federation has appointed eight members to its new Technical Commission that will be given a brief to ensure outstanding ice conditions at all World Curling Federation events.
