V Škótsku získala slovenská reprezentácia žien striebro

Slovenská reprezentácia žien dosiahla skvelý úspech, keď v škótskom Dumfries na ME C-kategórie získala strieborné medaily. Naše hráčky najskôr zdolali v semifinále Portugalsko 10:7, vo finále však nestačili na Poľsko (7:8). Slovenky si druhým miestom zabezpečili postup do ME B-kategórie, ktoré sa budú konať v neovembri. Na ME nás reprezentovali Dada Matulová, Maťa Ščepková, Paula Hajduk, Gabriela Kajanová a Jana Matulová. Naše reprezentácie už tretí rok od covidu bojujú s takmer neexistujúcimi možnosťami tréningov na Slovensku, keď curlingová hala v Ružinove je otvorená v priemere iba dva mesiace ročne a aj pred odchodom na ME ženskej reprezentácii odpadli takmer dva týždne tréningov.

Hosts Denmark earn first LGT World Women’s victory

In front of a packed home support, hosts Denmark beat Japan by 7-1 for their first win so far in Wednesday morning's 12th session of round-robin play at the LGT World Women's Curling Championship 2019.

China, Russia tied for first place at LGT World Women's

With an 8-6 win over Germany in Tuesday evening's eleventh session of round-robin play at the LGT World Women's Curling Championship 2019 in Silkeborg, Denmark, China moved into joint top of the rankings along with Russia. The Russians had an extra end 9-8 win over Finland and are now on six wins and one loss.

Latvia defeat hosts Denmark for first LGT World Women's win

Hosts Denmark and Latvia came onto the ice to face each other in Tuesday afternoon's tenth session of round-robin play of the LGT World Women's Curling Championship 2019 in the Silkeborg Sportscenter, Denmark. As the round-robin section of the Championship reached the halfway mark, both Latvia and the Danes had suffered five previous defeats.

Russia join China at the top of the standings in Denmark

In a top-of-the-table clash, China and Russia went head to head in the Silkeborg Sportscener, in Silkeborg, Denmark, on Tuesday morning. A win for the Russian's, by 9-7, saw them become tied at the top of the standings, with the previously unbeaten China with both teams winning five games and losing one so far.
