Svetový šampionát sa koná 23. - 30. apríla vo Švajčiarsku

Slovensko na svetovom šampionáte v Ženeve reprezentoval tím Adara v zložení Milan Bubeník, Ľubomír Malý, Peter Mocek, Daniel Sýkora a Karol Pospíchal. Naši reprezentanti sa v základnej skupine stretli s Kanadou, Tureckom, Austráliou, Fínskom, USA a Talianskom. Po šiestich prehrách do ďalších bojov nepostúpili. Skvelý úspech dosiahlo Česko, ktoré si pod vedením skipa Davida Šika vybojovalo strieborné medaily. Zlato získala Kanada (skip Wade White), ktorá vo finále zvíťazila nad Českom 6:3.

Germany get first world championship win on the board

After five losses in a row, Germany secured their first win at the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2019 in Stirling, Scotland, when they defeated Switzerland 7-2 in Wednesday afternoon's tenth session.

Wetzikon, Switzerland to host World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2020

Switzerland is set to host another international curling event in 2020, with the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2020 to be played in Wetzikon, which lies 30 kilometres south west of Zurich. The event will be played in the Curling Hall Wetzikon from Saturday 29 February to Saturday 7 March and will feature 12 Member Associations.
