Prvá liga mužov a žien

Začiatok najvyššej súťaže cez víkend od 18. do 19. marca

Slovenský curlingový zväz oznamuje, že Prvá liga mužov a Prvá liga žien sa začne hrať cez víkend od 18. do 19. marca. Štartovné pre mužov je 200 eur, pre ženy 150 eur. SCZ takisto ako pri tréningoch výrazne zadotuje všetky kluby. Ženy budú hrať dvojkolovým systémom, muži jednokolovým. Všetky tímy musia záväzne do utorka 7. marca vypísať mailom na office@curling.sk súpisky s minimálne 4 a maximálne 10 hráčmi. Program zápasov je zverejnený v sekcii Súťaže.
Program víkendov 
18. - 19. marca Prvá liga mužov, Prvá liga žien
25, . 26. marca Prvá liga žien, finále
1. - 2. apríla Prvá liga mužov, základná časť, semifinále
15. - 16. apríla Majstrovstvá SR  mixed doubles
29. - 30. apríla Prvá liga mužov, finále

Switzerland picked up their second win of the day to sit tied at the top of the rankings with Norway on four wins and one loss in the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2019 in Stirling, Scotland. After blanking the first end, Switzerland took an early lead with a score of two points in the second end and a steal of two points in the third end on their way to an 8-4 win over Canada.

First world wheelchair championship win for hosts Scotland

Scotland defeated Germany 9-7 and picked up their first win of the week on home ice in a game that went all the way to an extra-end. The first half of the game saw Germany take a 3-1 lead after stealing two points in the fourth end. However, Scotland responded with a precise hit in the fifth end for three points and a 4-3 lead.
