	Slovakia recorded their first win at the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2019 in the competition's first extra-end game after defeating debutants, Estonia 7-6, on Monday afternoon.  Slovakia opened the scoring with a single point in the first end, then a single point steal in the second end.

	On Monday morning's opening session of round-robin play Korea faced Canada with both sides looking to bounce back from their losses yesterday.   In a tense game that had a score of multiple points in only one end, Korea recorded the 5-4 win with the very last stone of the game.

	Norway begin World Wheelchair title defence with win
	Norway had to wait until the second session of round-robin play at the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2019 for their first game, but they began their title defence with a win on Sunday evening.  Norway defeated Slovakia 8-4 after opening the scoring in the second end with two points before stealing a single point in the third end.
