Šampionát sa začal na Zimnom štadióne V. Dzurillu v Ružinove cez víkend od 15. septembra. Titul obhajujú ženy CC Martin, medzi mužmi sa rozhodne v dohrávanom finále medzi CC Poprad a CC Martin.

Latvia record historic first win in World Wheelchair Championship debut

With their final stone Latvia secured their first win on the world stage when they defeated Canada 7-6 in Sunday's opening session of World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2019 in Stirling, Scotland. The championship's first session also saw wins for United States, Russia and China.

Lohja, Finland to host more international curling, including World Qualification Event

The Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland will continue to cement its place as a world class international curling venue when it hosts the second World Qualification Event.
