Uzávierka prihlášok je do nedele 2. marca

V ružinovskej hale sa od marca odohrá 2. ročník Slovenského curlingového pohára. Titul obhajuje tím Stone Hunters

Uzávierka prihlášok: nedeľa 2. marca
Kto sa môže prihlásiť: Mužské, ženské, mixované, juniorské či vozičkárske tímy. Zúčastniť sa môžu aj úplne nové tímy s neregistrovanými hráčmi.
Pravidlá: Hrá sa vyraďovacím systémom, víťaz postupuje do ďalšieho kola, prehrávajúci tím končí. Zápasy sú na 6 endov, výhodu posledného kameňa majú vždy ženské tímy, alebo družstvá umiestnené nižšie v aktuálnej lige. V prípade remízy sa hrá o víťaza už iba jedno draw. Hrať sa bude v dohodnutých termínoch podľa výberu jednotlivých tímov.
Štartovné: Neplatí sa, tímy si zaplatia iba ľadovú plochu 30 eur na hodinu. Na zápasy si treba objednať 2 hodiny.

Štvrťfinále: 24. marca - 6. apríla
Semifinále: 7. apríla - 20. apríla
Finále: 21. apríla - 30. apríla

For two World Junior teams the journey continues

For most of the teams taking part, the World Junior Curling Championships, staged in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, Canada, might well be considered as the highlight of their season, but for two – Norway men and Korea women – these Championships are a staging post to even more curling action.

World Junior finals set in Liverpool, Canada

Both women's and men's Canadian teams will play for gold in front of their home crowd on Saturday (23 February) at the World Junior Championships in Liverpool, Canada. In the women's event, Canada beat Switzerland by 8-2 in Friday evening's semi-finals and will now play Russia, who beat China by 8-6 in their semi-final game.

Defending champions, Canada, secured one of the remaining semi-final places in Friday afternoon's last women's round-robin session after defeating Russia 8-3 in the Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool, Canada.

Norway and Switzerland reach World Junior semi-finals

Norway and Switzerland join Canada and Scotland in the World Junior Curling Championships 2019 in Liverpool, Canada after Friday morning's final men's round-robin session. With an 11-5 win over United States, Scotland navigated the round-robin without defeat and now go into the semi-finals in top spot.

China and Switzerland claim the first two women’s World Junior semi-final places

With one game still to play, Switzerland and China secured their places in the World Junior Curling Championships 2019 semi-finals in Thursday evening's eighth session of round-robin play. China's 8-7 extra-end win over Canada secured their place in the semi-final line-up.
