Tímy si ich môžu ešte nahlasovať do voľných termínov

Curlingová hala na Zimnom štadióne V. Dzurillu v Ružinove otvára od 1. marca svoju prevádzku. Všetky tímy si mohli do utorka 28. februára nahlásiť pravidelné tréningy, ktoré chcú mať do ukončenia sezóny 30. apríla. Cena pre členov SCZ stanovená Ružinovským športovým klubom je 40 eur/1 hodina/1 dráha od 14.00 do 22.00 hod a 30 eur/1 hod/1 dráha v čase od 7.00 do 14.00 hod. Slovenský curlingový zväz podporí každý tím dotáciou v podobe dvoch hodín týždenne sumou 40 eur tak, že za tieto tréningy zaplatia 20 eur/1 hodina/1 dráha. Tréningy nad 2 hodiny týždenne už budú podľa cenníka RŠK. Pravidelné hodiny treba objednať mailom na office@curling.sk alebo tel. 0918 824 449 /štátne sviatky 7. a 10. apríla bude hala zatvorená/. Všetky tímy, ktoré si nestihli napísať pravidelné tréningy, môžu tak urobiť priebežne do zostávajúcich voľných termínov.

Defending champions, Canada, qualify for semi-finals

With their 9-5 win over Sweden on Thursday afternoon's eighth session of men's round-robin play at the World Junior Championships in Liverpool, Canada, defending champions Canada joined already-qualified Scotland in the weekend semi-final line-up.

China women in first place at World Juniors

China moved into a clear lead in the women's ranking at the World Junior Championships in Liverpool, Canada with an 8-2 win over Switzerland in Thursday morning's seventh round-robin session. Russia also had a win in this session, by 10-7 over Korea, as did Canada, who beat Norway by 8-2, and these results mean that Canada, Russia and Switzerland all share second place.

With their seventh successive win – an 8-6 victory over Switzerland in Wednesday evening's seventh men's round-robin session – Scotland became the first team to qualify for the play-off stages of the World Junior Curling Championships 2019 in Liverpool, Canada.

As Scotland men continued their unbeaten run – beating Italy by 12-1 in just six ends of Wednesday morning's sixth round-robin session of the World Junior Championships in Liverpool, Canada – the qualification race behind them is heating up. Four teams – Canada, Norway, Switzerland, and United States – now share second place and all recorded wins in this session.
