Vo Švajčiarsku aj so slovenskou účasťou

Slovenská dvojica Janko Horáček, Paula Hajduk skončila cez víkend 12. - 14. augusta na turnaji 1. WCT Argovia MD Masters vo švajčiarskom Badene v C-skupine na 5. mieste a do ďalších bojov nepostúpila. Naši reprezentanti s bilanciou 0:4 odohrali najvyrovnanejšie zápasy v 1. a 4. kole, ktoré zhodne prehrali o 3 body (Schmid, Risi 6:9, Regza, Regza 3:6).
Víťazom turnaja sa stal v domácom finále tím Martin Rios, Jenny Perret, ktorý vo finále zdolal dvojicu Kevin Wunderlin, Daniela Rupp 7:6. Bronz získal český pár Tomáš a Zuzana Paulovi.

New Member Associations to take to the ice at World Mixed Doubles

The World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2019, being held in Stavanger, Norway, from 20-27 April, will be the biggest edition of this event to date. Not only that, five Member Associations will compete in their first ever World Curling Federation event. A total of 48 teams will take to the ice with Kosovo, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine all making debuts.
