Víťazom historického turnaja Gallo Team

Víťazom turnaja High Tatras Air Open v Tatranskej Lomnici sa stal Gallo team. Úradujúci slovenskí majstri pod vedením skipa Juraja Galla ako jediní zvíťazili vo všetkých štyroch zápasoch a zdvihli nad hlavu unikátnu trofej.

"Na toto podujatie sme dali zhotoviť krásnu trofej, typického tatranského svišťa stojaceho na curlingovom kameni. Vyrobil nám ju rezbár Marián Hutira. Váži 13 kilogramov a je celá z dreva. Bude to putovná trofej, keďže v organizácii turnaja chceme pokračovať aj v ďalších rokoch," povedal šéf organizačného tímu Jakub Jurkovič.

Na historický prvom curlingovom podujatí na Slovensku pod otvoreným nebom sa na druhom mieste umiestnilo poľské družstvo Jurczyk, tretiu priečku obsadil ďalší domáci tím Rakúsy. Na turnaji sa zúčastnilo 15 družstiev zo Slovenska, Česka, Poľska a Slovinska.

Konečne poradie: 1. Gallo Team 8 bodov {14 endov), 2. Team Jurczyk (Poľ.) 6 (17), 3. Rakúsy 6 (14), 4. CK Brno 6 (14), 5. PLC Praha 5 {15), 6. CK Ľubľana (Slov.) 4 (11), 7. Fradra (Poľ.) 4 (7), 8. Trutnov 3 (9), 9. Martin W 2 (10), 10. Gentlmen 2 (10), 11. Spirit 2 (8), 12. Bambucza 2 (6), 13. Slovak wheelchairs 2 (5), 14. Bear Friends 0 (9), 15. Sklamantes 0 (4)
