Novým prezidentom WCF Američan Beau Welling

Vo funkcii nahradil Britku Kate Caithness

Beau Welling uspel vo voľbách za nového prezidenta Svetovej curlingovej federácie na 11. výročnom valnom zhromaždení vo švajčiarskom Lausanne. Členské asociácie WCF ho zvolili aj s prispením hlasu Slovenského curlingového zväzu v druhom kole hlasovania. Američan nahradí vo funkcii prezidentku Kate Caithness na konci jej 12-ročného funkčného obdobia.   
Welling je zakladateľom a prezidentom Beau Welling Design, spoločnosti zaoberajúcej sa návrhom a vývojom golfových ihrísk so sídlom v Greenville. „Teším sa na spoluprácu s našimi členmi, aby sme posunuli šport curlingu na vyššiu úroveň a aby sme pokračovali v skvelej práci, ktorú odviedla Kate Caithness," povedal Welling.
