The World Curling Federation acknowledges the decision of the Court of Arbitration of Sport relating to Aleksandr Krushelnitckii, the Olympic Athlete from Russia who committed an anti-doping rule violation at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in South Korea.

The second leg of the inaugural Curling World Cup features 24 teams, 82 athletes and ten countries competing in Omaha, United States. Here's all you need to know. What's the Curling World Cup? It is a new four-leg international series, which started in September in Suzhou, China and ends with the Grand Final in Beijing, China next May.

The world wheelchair qualification event in Lohja, Finland, in November, saw the wheelchair curling teams from Estonia, Slovakia and Latvia confirm their places in Stirling for the World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2018 from 3 to 10 March 2019. This will be the first time that Estonia and Latvia will feature in this championship, whilst Slovakia return after their absence in 2017.

Sweden's Team Anna Hasselborg and United States' Team John Shuster, who are the Olympic curling gold medallists from PyeongChang 2018, have won the ‘Best Female Athlete Team of PyeongChang 2018' and the ‘Best Male Athlete Team of PyeongChang 2018' awards respectively. These were awarded at the fifth ANOC Awards 2018, being held in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday.
