Slovenskí reprezentanti Silvia a Marek Sýkorovci prehrali v kvalifikácii na MS v mixed doubles v Škótsku v play-off v súboji o priamy postup do A-kategórie so Španielskom 5:7 a Tureckom 3:15 a medzi elitu sa neprebojovali. Postupom do play-off však dosiahli historicky najlepší výsledok v kvalifikácii MS. Gratulujeme
