Norway women and Denmark men win European B-Division

Also on Friday night was the finals of the European B-Division. The winners in those championships were Norway women and Denmark men. Norway stole one point in the last end of their final against hosts Estonia to win by 7-6. Meanwhile, Denmark beat England 10-4 in just nine ends.

Germany women and Italy men win Le GruyEre AOP European bronze medals

Italy's men's team have won a bronze medal at the Le GruyEre AOP European Curling Championships 2018, for the first time in this event since 1979. Also, claiming bronze medals on Friday night was Germany's women's team. Germany women beat Russia 7-4 in the bronze medal game, meanwhile, Italy's men's team claimed bronze by overcoming Germany 8-6.
B-Division final line-ups set

B-Division final line-ups set

The B-Division women played their semi-finals on Friday morning at the Le GruyEre AOP European Curling Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. Estonia reached the final at their home event with a 7-3 win over Turkey. Estonia opened the scoring in the second end and left Turkey without a chance to gain the upper hand. A 10-8 victory over Lithuania booked Norway a ticket to the final.

Switzerland and Sweden to compete for Le GruyEre AOP European gold

Olympic champions Sweden will face Switzerland – unbeaten so far in this event – in Saturday's women's final of the Le Gruyere AOP European Championships, in Tallinn, Estonia. To reach the final, Sweden beat Russia by 7-4 while Switzerland were 6-4 winners over Germany. Russia and Germany will now play for bronze medals this evening.
