Slovenský tím CC Martin skončil na prestížnom turnaji Swiss Cup v Bazileji na 20. mieste. Náš majster prehral vo svojom prvom vystúpení s vicemajstrom Európy spred troch rokov Yannickom Schwallerom tesne 3:5. Slováci v druhom kole nestačili na Škóta Waddella 1:8 a potom aj na Taliana Ribottu 3:5. Na turnaji s absolútnou svetovou špičkou (Škótom Mouatom, Nórom Walstadom, Talianom Retornazom či Američanom Smithom) sa stal víťazom Škót Whyte, ktorý vo finále zdolal Nóra Ramsfjella 6:5.
