Vo Švajčiarsku aj so slovenskou účasťou

Slovenská dvojica Janko Horáček, Paula Hajduk skončila cez víkend 12. - 14. augusta na turnaji 1. WCT Argovia MD Masters vo švajčiarskom Badene v C-skupine na 5. mieste a do ďalších bojov nepostúpila. Naši reprezentanti s bilanciou 0:4 odohrali najvyrovnanejšie zápasy v 1. a 4. kole, ktoré zhodne prehrali o 3 body (Schmid, Risi 6:9, Regza, Regza 3:6). 
Víťazom turnaja sa stal v domácom finále tím Martin Rios, Jenny Perret, ktorý vo finále zdolal dvojicu Kevin Wunderlin, Daniela Rupp 7:6. Bronz získal český pár Tomáš a Zuzana Paulovi.

Three teams set to battle in America's Challenge

The America's Challenge is set to take place at the Chaska Curling Center in Chaska, Minnesota, United States from 15 to 18 November 2018. This season, the America's Challenge takes place prior to the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 to decide the second America's zone qualifier.

Japan win Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 men's title

On Saturday evening in the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, Republic of Korea, Japan won the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 men's title and gold medals after defeating China 9-7. Both Japan and China have also qualified for the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada.

Korea women win gold at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018

Korea have won the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 women's gold medals and title by defeating Japan, 12-8, on Saturday (10 November) afternoon in the Gangnueng Curling Centre, in Gangneung, Republic of Korea. Both Japan and Korea have also qualified for the World Women's Curling Championship 2019 in Silkeborg, Denmark.

China women and Korea men won the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 bronze medals on Saturday (10 November) morning in Gangneung, Republic of Korea. China defeated Hong Kong, by a score of 8-3, while Korea beat New Zealand, 9-8, to win the bronze medals.
