Slovensko - Izrael 9:3

Slovenskí reprezentanti zvíťazili vo svojom dtuhom vystúpení na ME B vo Švédsku nad Izraelom 9:3. O osude zápasu rozhodli už prvé dva endy, po ktorých sme viedli 5:0. „Na súpera sme sa pripravili, začali sme opatrnejšie, nechceli sme riskovať, že nám ujde začiatok zápasu. Vedeli sme, že po prvom zaváhaní potrebujeme vyhrať, aby sme sa vrátili späť do boja o postup do play-off. Takisto sme sa potrebovali vrátiť do hernej pohody, Vďaka bojovnosti sme dostali Izrael pod tlak a dosiahli sme pomerne jasné víťazstvo.," povedal viceskip slovenského tímu Ján Horáček. 
Slovákov čaká v pondelok od 13.30 Španielsko. „Je to súper, ktorý ešte neprehral, musíme byť koncentrovaní," doplnil Horáček. Naši hráči sa zásluhou víťazstva posunuli v A-skupine na delené 3. miesto.

The fifth round-robin session of the women's competition at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 saw China and Japan claim their semi-final places and Kazakhstan win. China and Japan are the first women's teams to earn their places in the semi-finals and remain undefeated in the competition.

Day four at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 continued with the men's sixth session and saw China qualify for the semi-finals, while Chinese Taipei, Japan and New Zealand all recorded wins. China secured their place in the semi-finals after defeating Qatar by a score of 13-1 to sit at the top of the rankings undefeated on six wins.
