Našich curlingistov čaká do konca roka nabitý program

Slovenských curlingistov čaká do konca roka náročný program, keď sa predstavia na piatich vrcholných podujatiach. Ako prvá zasiahne do bojov reprezentácia mixov, ktorú čakajú majstrovstvá sveta v škótskom Aberdeene. Svoje tohtoročné vrcholy budú mať aj vozičkári, reprezentačné tímy mužov, žien a párov, ako aj družstvo junioriek.

MS B vozičkárov, 4. - 10. novembra v Lohje (Fínsko)
ME B mužov a žien,19. - 26. novembra v Östersunde (Švédsko)

MS B juniorov, 8. - 19. decembra v Lohje (Fínsko)

New Zealand defeat Australia to stay in the play-off hunt at the round-robin half-way stage

Day four of the Pacific-Asia Curling Championship 2018 got underway this morning (Tuesday 6 November) with the men's fifth session of round-robin play in Gangneung, Republic of Korea. This session was the half-way mark in the men's round-robin and saw New Zealand face Australia in a tense game that went all the way to the final stone.

The women's competition resumed at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 with the third session of round-robin play on Monday (5 November) evening with wins for China, Japan and Korea. Japan had a strong start against Hong Kong, stealing three points in the first end as Hong Kong skip Hung Ling-Yue's double take-out attempt could only remove a single Japanese counter.

Monday (5 November) afternoon saw the men's teams return to the ice for their fourth session of round-robin play at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018, in Gangnueng, Republic of Korea. In this session, Kazakhstan secured their first win of the competition when they defeated Chinese Taipei, by a score of 12-5.

In the final session of day two at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championship 2018 the men returned to the ice for their third round-robin session in Gangneung, Republic of Korea. New Zealand faced Kazakhstan in this session with both sides searching for their first win.
