Začiatok najvyššej súťaže cez víkend od 18. do 19. marca

Slovenský curlingový zväz oznamuje, že Prvá liga mužov a Prvá liga žien sa začne hrať cez víkend od 18. do 19. marca. Štartovné pre mužov je 200 eur, pre ženy 150 eur. SCZ takisto ako pri tréningoch výrazne zadotuje všetky kluby. Ženy budú hrať dvojkolovým systémom, muži jednokolovým. Všetky tímy musia záväzne do utorka 7. marca vypísať mailom na office@curling.sk súpisky s minimálne 4 a maximálne 10 hráčmi. Program zápasov je zverejnený v sekcii Súťaže.

The women's competition at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 kicked off with wins for China, Hong Kong and Japan. The session's televised game between China and Korea went all the way to an extra end.

China and Japan top the rankings with two wins after the men's second session

The second men's session at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 saw Australia, China, Japan and Korea win in the Gangneung Curling Centre, leaving China and Japan at the top the standings with two wins each. Japan started strongly against New Zealand, scoring two points in the first and stealing a single point in the second end for a 3-0 lead.

Pacific-Asia Championships gets underway in Gangneung

The opening day of the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 saw international curling return to the Olympic venue, in Gangneung, Republic of Korea and the men begin their championship in the day's only session. In a repeat of last year's gold medal game, China faced hosts Korea.

International wheelchair curling returns this Friday (9 November), for the first time since March's Paralympic Winter Games in Gangneung, South Korea, with the World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship 2018 in the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland.
