Do prvej ligy sa prihlásilo 14 tímov

Do Prvej ligy sa prihlásilo 14 tímov, herný program víkendov bude zverejnený v najbližších dňoch. Prvú ligu mužov bude hrať 10 tímov, súťaž žien 4 tímy.
Mužská liga sa bude hrať systémom každého s každým, do semifinále postúpia najlepšie dva tímy, do štvrťfinále družstvá na 3. - 6. mieste. Ženská súťaž sa odohrá dvojkolovo, do finále postúpi najlepší tím, do semifinále družstvá na 2. a 3. priečke. Štartovné je 400 eur (muži) a 280 eur (ženy).
Prvá liga mužov: Stonehunters, Stonehunters B, Modra, Spirit, 1. wcc, Gentlemen, Gentlemen 2, Martin 1, Martin 2, CC Poprad
Prvá liga žien: Stonehunterky, Martin, 1. CC Bratislava II, Spirit

Canada win gold on home soil at the Winn Rentals World Mixed Curling Championship 2018

Canada edged Spain 6-2 in the gold medal game at the Kelowna Curling Club, in Kelowna, Canada on Saturday 20 October 2018 to win Canada's first world mixed title. It was the first time the two teams met throughout the championship, and first ever world final appearance for Spain.

Hosts Canada and Spain have advanced to the gold medal game at the Winn Rentals World Mixed Curling Championship 2018 after two entertaining semi-finals at the Kelowna Curling Club. Spain advanced to their first ever world level gold medal game after a commanding 6-2 win over Russia.
