Vrcholom budú Zimné olympijské hry v Pekingu

Slovenský curlingový zväz praje všetkým členom príjemné prežitie vianočných sviatkov, veľa šťastia, zdravia a úspechov v novom roku 2022. Tento rok poznačila pandémia a boli zrušené všetky súťaže slovenskej ligy. Na reprezentačnej úrovni sa darilo tímu mužov, ktorý si na ME v Ženeve vybojoval postup do B-kategórie. Na ME v Lillehammeri potvrdil formu a takisto ako reprezentácia žien si udržal účasť v béčku. Naši hráči boli aj v hre o ZOH v Pekingu, v tureckom Erzurume si však muži, ženy ani dably postup nevybojovali. V budúcom roku bude pre slovenský curling vrcholom marcová paralympiáda, kde sa zúčastní tím pod vedením Radka Ďuriša.

First mixed doubles quarter-finals games set after Last 16 session one

Japan, Korea, Sweden and Russia advance to the quarter-finals of the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2018 in Oestersund, Sweden, with wins in the first session of the Last 16 play-off stage. After beginning the championship with two losses, Japan have fought their way back to the quarter-finals with a win 10-2 over Scotland in the Last 16.

The World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships 2018 in Ostersund, Sweden, has players who have much more than just their love for the sport in common. The teams from Spain, Guyana, Denmark, and Norway all siblings, while hosts Sweden's players are spouses. But two teams this season have parents pairing up with their children to represent their countries.
