Majstrovstvá Európy mužov a žien

Slovenskí reprezentanti na MS vo Švédsku v B-kategórii skončili boje v základných skupinách. Výborne sa darilo ženskému tímu, ktorý zaznamenal 5 víťazstiev a 4 prehry a iba jediný bod ho na 5. mieste delil od postupu do play-off. Mužský tím s bilanciou 2 výhier a 7 prehier opúšťa B-kategóriu. Muži hrali v zostave Peter, Tomáš, František a Pavol Pitoňákovci, medzi ženami nás reprezentovali Linda Haferová, Lucia Orokocka, Nina Mayerová, Silvia Sýkorová a Gabriela Kajanová.

Výsledky SR - muži: Maďarsko 5:9, Wales 6:7, Estónsko 10:3, Bulharsko 9:10, Česko 6:9, Španielsko 2:9, Fínsko 2:9, page off o záchranu v béčku: Izrael 9:6, Maďarsko 6:7
Ženy: Fínsko 3:6, Anglicko 8:10, Litva 12:10, Turecko 4:7, Španielsko 5:4, Taliansko 1:9, Poľsko 7:5, Bielorusko 6:4, Maďarsko 8:5

Australia reach first World Mixed Doubles semi-final, along with Sweden, Canada and United States

Sweden, United States, Canada and, for the first time ever, Australia, have all reached the semi-finals of the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2019, in Stavanger, Norway. To do so, Sweden beat Czech Republic by 8-3, a victory that was sealed with a score of four points in the seventh end, when Sweden used their Power Play.

Canada, Estonia, Russia and United States bound for quarter-finals
