Vo Fínsku aj slovenský tím junioriek

Vo fínskej Lohje sa konajú majstrovstvá sveta B-kategórie juniorov. Naše dievčatá si v A-skupine po dvoch prehrách (Turecko 2:12, Poľsko 3:6) pripísali na svoje konto prvé víťazstvo nad Brazíliou (8:3). V ďalšom zápase prehrali s Kanadou 2:5, s najväčším favoritom však odohrali vyrovnaný duel, keď ešte po piatom ende bolo 2:2. Slovenky v záverečnom dueli prehrali s Talianskom 2:8 a do play-off nepostúpili. Vo Fínsku nás reprezentovala štvorica Paulína Hajduk, Melánia Kováčiková, Zorka Reilly a Nina Summerová s trénerkou Luciou Orokockou.

World Mixed Doubles host Oestersund, “a town that knows how to take care of curlers”

They call Oestersund the heart of Sweden and in a matter of days the city will have a chance to capture the curling world's heart as it hosts the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2018 from 21 to 28 April.

World Mixed Doubles 2018 set to follow successful Olympic debut

Following the successful debut of mixed doubles – curling's abbreviated discipline – at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang in February, the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2018 will be held at the new Ostersund Arena, in Oestersund, Sweden between 21 and 28 April.
