Svetový šampionát sa koná 23. - 30. apríla vo Švajčiarsku

Slovensko na svetovom šampionáte v Ženeve reprezentoval tím Adara v zložení Milan Bubeník, Ľubomír Malý, Peter Mocek, Daniel Sýkora a Karol Pospíchal. Naši reprezentanti sa v základnej skupine stretli s Kanadou, Tureckom, Austráliou, Fínskom, USA a Talianskom. Po šiestich prehrách do ďalších bojov nepostúpili. Skvelý úspech dosiahlo Česko, ktoré si pod vedením skipa Davida Šika vybojovalo strieborné medaily. Zlato získala Kanada (skip Wade White), ktorá vo finále zvíťazila nad Českom 6:3.

In Saturday (7 April) morning's qualification games of the 361° World Men's Curling Championship in Las Vegas, United States, Canada played the host nation for the right to play second-placed Scotland in the semi-finals. Canada had finished in third place after the round-robin, while United States claimed the last available qualification slot in sixth place on the rankings.

The World Curling Federation is pleased to announce the All Stars team for the 361º World Men's Curling Championship 2018. The team consists of Olympic silver medal winning skip, Niklas Edin from Sweden, two of the reigning world champions from Canada, third, Mark Nichols and lead Geoff Walker alongside second Bobby Lammie from Scotland.

Korea and United States claim final 361º World Men's play-off places

Korea and United States claimed the final two play-off places in the 361º World Men's Curling Championship 2018 in Las Vegas, United States on Friday (6 April) evening. United States will now play, Canada in the 3v6 game, while Korea and Norway will go head-to-head in the 4v5 game, on Saturday (7 April) morning.
