Vrcholom budú Zimné olympijské hry v Pekingu

Slovenský curlingový zväz praje všetkým členom príjemné prežitie vianočných sviatkov, veľa šťastia, zdravia a úspechov v novom roku 2022. Tento rok poznačila pandémia a boli zrušené všetky súťaže slovenskej ligy. Na reprezentačnej úrovni sa darilo tímu mužov, ktorý si na ME v Ženeve vybojoval postup do B-kategórie. Na ME v Lillehammeri potvrdil formu a takisto ako reprezentácia žien si udržal účasť v béčku. Naši hráči boli aj v hre o ZOH v Pekingu, v tureckom Erzurume si však muži, ženy ani dably postup nevybojovali. V budúcom roku bude pre slovenský curling vrcholom marcová paralympiáda, kde sa zúčastní tím pod vedením Radka Ďuriša.

Norway into 361º World Men's play-off

Clarence ‘Shorty' Jenkins inducted into World Curling Hall of Fame

Clarence ‘Shorty' Jenkins, one of curling's finest ice-makers has been inducted into the World Curling Hall of Fame, posthumously, as a builder. His daughter Kitty Jenkins received the accolade at the Orleans Aren, in Las Vegas, United States at the 361º World Men's Curling Championship 2018.

Canada, Scotland and Sweden qualify for the play-off stage

Olympic silver medallists Sweden beat China by 10-2 and Scotland beat Norway by 8-6 in Thursday morning's 15th session of round-robin play at the 361° World Men's Curling Championship in Las Vegas, United States, and these wins mean that both have now qualified for the weekend play-off stage.
