Vrcholom budú Zimné olympijské hry v Pekingu

Slovenský curlingový zväz praje všetkým členom príjemné prežitie vianočných sviatkov, veľa šťastia, zdravia a úspechov v novom roku 2022. Tento rok poznačila pandémia a boli zrušené všetky súťaže slovenskej ligy. Na reprezentačnej úrovni sa darilo tímu mužov, ktorý si na ME v Ženeve vybojoval postup do B-kategórie. Na ME v Lillehammeri potvrdil formu a takisto ako reprezentácia žien si udržal účasť v béčku. Naši hráči boli aj v hre o ZOH v Pekingu, v tureckom Erzurume si však muži, ženy ani dably postup nevybojovali. V budúcom roku bude pre slovenský curling vrcholom marcová paralympiáda, kde sa zúčastní tím pod vedením Radka Ďuriša.

World junior men's competition begins with wins for hosts and defending champions

Korea, the defending junior men's champions, opened the defence of their crown with a 10-4 win over Germany in Saturday afternoon's opening men's round-robin session of the World Junior Curling Championships 2018, in Curl Aberdeen, Scotland.

Sweden junior women open title defence with win

Sweden's women opened their world junior championship title defence with a 7-4 win over Korea as the World Junior Curling Championships 2018 got underway at Curl Aberdeen, Scotland on Saturday (3 March) morning. The Swedes took a 3-2 lead into the fifth-end break, and a score of three points in the sixth end, for a 6-2 lead, proved decisive for them.

Live stream coverage on all IPC channels announced

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has announced that all sporting action from the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games held 9-18 March will be streamed live on www.Paralympic.org using an Olympic Channel player. More than 300 hours of coverage will be available over the six Paralympic sports, including individual matches from Para ice hockey and wheelchair curling.

Olympic Celebration Tour capitalising on PyeongChang 2018's curling buzz

Throughout the journey to the Olympic Winter Games 2018 in PyeongChang, Republic of Korea, the Olympic Celebration Tour (OCT) has been running in full force across the world. The OCT is a series of instructional, interactive curling tours with the goal in mind to generate interest and create awareness of curling leading up to, and during, the Games.
