Kongres WCF v Bratislave

Bude sa konať v septembri budúceho roka

Slovenský curling dosiahol skvelý úspech na diplomatickom poli. Delegáti WCF v Austrálii rozhodli, že budúcoročný kongres Svetovej curlingovej federácie sa bude konať od 3. do 6. septembra v budúcom roku v Bratislave. Úspešnú kandidatúru za Slovensko prezentovali v Goald Coast Ján Horáček a Zuzka Kohániová.

Do najvyššej súťaže sa prihlásilo 14 tímov

Do Prvej ligy mužov a žien sa prihlásilo 14 tímov. Systém súťaže a štartovné bude určené na základe ceny ľadu od RŠK, ktoré by mali byť známe do konca týždňa.
Prvé kolo Prvej ligy by sa malo hrať v októbri.
Prihlásené tímy
Muži: Poprad, 1. WCC, Martin 1, Martin 2, Gentlemen, Soupy Team, Spirit, Stone Hunters, Stone Hunters B, Stone Hunters NG, CC Modra
Ženy: 1. CC Bratislava II, Martin, Stonehunterky

Prípravné turnaje v Prahe

V pražskej curlingovej hale sa cez víkend 13. a 14. septembra uskutočnia dva jednodňové turnaje Roztyly Open. Prvý bude turnaj párov, druhý klasický s tímami mužov, žien či mixov. Uzávierka prihlášok je 3. septembra, prihlášky treba posielať na olga.vohlidalova@curlingpromo.cz

Nová sezóna na Zimnom štadióne V. Dzurillu

Uzávierka prihlášok do Prvej ligy 7. septembra

Ružinovský športový klub rieši nastavenie prevádzky novej sezóny v curlingovej hale na štadióne V. Dzurillu. SCZ bude informovať hneď ako bude známa konečná dohoda. Zatiaľ je známy nový cenník, ktorý je na stránke RŠK. Termín uzávierok do Prvej ligy je 7. septembra, bližšie informácie budú aj na stránke www.curling.sk už čoskoro. Termíny ligy sa budú nastavovať podľa otvorenia štadióna.

Tím Stone Hunters Mix obsadíl na turnaji ĽubĽana Open 2025 výborne tretie miesto. V konkurencii 24 tímov sa darilo aj druhému tímu Stone Hunters, ktorý obsadil 10. priečku.

Defending champions, Canada, qualify for semi-finals

With their 9-5 win over Sweden on Thursday afternoon's eighth session of men's round-robin play at the World Junior Championships in Liverpool, Canada, defending champions Canada joined already-qualified Scotland in the weekend semi-final line-up.

China women in first place at World Juniors

China moved into a clear lead in the women's ranking at the World Junior Championships in Liverpool, Canada with an 8-2 win over Switzerland in Thursday morning's seventh round-robin session. Russia also had a win in this session, by 10-7 over Korea, as did Canada, who beat Norway by 8-2, and these results mean that Canada, Russia and Switzerland all share second place.

Scotland qualify for World Junior play-offs after seventh win

With their seventh successive win – an 8-6 victory over Switzerland in Wednesday evening's seventh men's round-robin session – Scotland became the first team to qualify for the play-off stages of the World Junior Curling Championships 2019 in Liverpool, Canada.

Canada women hand Switzerland first World Junior loss

At the top of the table in the women's competition at the World Junior Curling Championships in Liverpool, Canada, there is now a two-way tie between China and Switzerland. In the afternoon's sixth round-robin session, Canada beat previously undefeated Switzerland 6-4 while China held on to win against United States 9-8.

Men's play-off hunt tightens at World Juniors

As Scotland men continued their unbeaten run – beating Italy by 12-1 in just six ends of Wednesday morning's sixth round-robin session of the World Junior Championships in Liverpool, Canada – the qualification race behind them is heating up. Four teams – Canada, Norway, Switzerland, and United States – now share second place and all recorded wins in this session.
