Vrcholom budú Zimné olympijské hry v Pekingu

Slovenský curlingový zväz praje všetkým členom príjemné prežitie vianočných sviatkov, veľa šťastia, zdravia a úspechov v novom roku 2022. Tento rok poznačila pandémia a boli zrušené všetky súťaže slovenskej ligy. Na reprezentačnej úrovni sa darilo tímu mužov, ktorý si na ME v Ženeve vybojoval postup do B-kategórie. Na ME v Lillehammeri potvrdil formu a takisto ako reprezentácia žien si udržal účasť v béčku. Naši hráči boli aj v hre o ZOH v Pekingu, v tureckom Erzurume si však muži, ženy ani dably postup nevybojovali. V budúcom roku bude pre slovenský curling vrcholom marcová paralympiáda, kde sa zúčastní tím pod vedením Radka Ďuriša.

Sweden and Scotland to compete for the Le GruyEre AOP European’s gold medals

Defending champions Sweden will play Scotland in Saturday's (24 November) men's gold medal final at the Le GruyEre AOP European Curling Championships 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia, following their semi-final wins. Sweden beat Germany by 6-3 while it took Scotland all the way to an extra end to get past Italy, by 9-6, in their semi-final.

Germany clinch last semi-final place at the Le GruyEre AOP Europeans

It took all the way to the last stone of an extra end in the match between table-toppers Switzerland and defending champions Scotland – a game that Switzerland won by 6-5 – to determine the women's semi-final line-up after Thursday afternoon's final women's round-robin session at the Le Gruyere AOP European Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.

Germany claim last semi-final place at the Le GruyEre AOP Europeans

Despite losing their last round-robin game to Sweden by 2-8, Germany gained the fourth semi-final qualification slot at the Le Gruyere AOP European Championships in Tallinn, Estonia, joining Sweden, Scotland and Italy. Germany shared the same won five, lost four record as Norway and Switzerland but had the superior draw shot challenge performance, to keep their medal hopes alive.

Sweden and Russia claim Le GruyEre AOP European semi-final places

Having spent the week battling sickness in the team as well as their opponents, Sweden grabbed an 8-2 win over Finland in Wednesday evening's eighth session of women's round-robin play at the Le GruyEre AOP European Championships in Tallinn, Estonia to qualify for the weekend semi-finals.

Turkey secure their Le GruyEre AOP European B-Division play-off place

Women The B-Division women were back in action on Wednesday morning in their seventh round-robin session at the Le GruyEre AOP European Curling Championships 2018. Turkey won 11-3 over Lithuania. Lithuania opened the scoring, but Turkey responded with a four-point score in the second end and increased their advantage from there.
