Vrcholom budú Zimné olympijské hry v Pekingu

Slovenský curlingový zväz praje všetkým členom príjemné prežitie vianočných sviatkov, veľa šťastia, zdravia a úspechov v novom roku 2022. Tento rok poznačila pandémia a boli zrušené všetky súťaže slovenskej ligy. Na reprezentačnej úrovni sa darilo tímu mužov, ktorý si na ME v Ženeve vybojoval postup do B-kategórie. Na ME v Lillehammeri potvrdil formu a takisto ako reprezentácia žien si udržal účasť v béčku. Naši hráči boli aj v hre o ZOH v Pekingu, v tureckom Erzurume si však muži, ženy ani dably postup nevybojovali. V budúcom roku bude pre slovenský curling vrcholom marcová paralympiáda, kde sa zúčastní tím pod vedením Radka Ďuriša.

Glasgow keen to welcome curling's elite

As the medal games loom at the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Championship in Lethbridge, Canada, thoughts are already turning to next year and the LGT World Men's Championship 2020, which will be hosted in the Emirates Arena, in Glasgow, Scotland's largest city.

Sweden progress to the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's gold medal final

Defending champions Sweden faced Japan in Saturday afternoon's first semi-final of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada and won by 8-2 to face either hosts Canada or Switzerland in Sunday evening's gold medal final. Before that, Japan will play for bronze medals against the loser of the other semi-final.

Canada and Japan reach the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's semi-finals

Hosts Canada beat Scotland by 6-5 while Japan were 7-6 winners over United States in Saturday morning's qualification games of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada, and these results mean that Japan now face defending champions Sweden in one semi-final while Canada will play Switzerland in the other.

Scotland claim the last Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's play-off place

With a 9-5 win over Italy in Friday evening's 20th and last round-robin session of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship2019 in Lethbridge, Canada, Scotland grabbed the sixth and last slot in the weekend play-offs, joining already-qualified leaders Sweden as well as Switzerland, Canada, Japan, and United States in Saturday's games.

Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 All Stars

The World Curling Federation is pleased to announce the All Stars team for the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019. Two of the winners are from the reigning world champions, Sweden – fourth Niklas Edin and third Oskar Eriksson. The all-star team also includes Japan's Yusamasa Tanida and Canada's Ben Hebert.
