Vrcholom budú Zimné olympijské hry v Pekingu

Slovenský curlingový zväz praje všetkým členom príjemné prežitie vianočných sviatkov, veľa šťastia, zdravia a úspechov v novom roku 2022. Tento rok poznačila pandémia a boli zrušené všetky súťaže slovenskej ligy. Na reprezentačnej úrovni sa darilo tímu mužov, ktorý si na ME v Ženeve vybojoval postup do B-kategórie. Na ME v Lillehammeri potvrdil formu a takisto ako reprezentácia žien si udržal účasť v béčku. Naši hráči boli aj v hre o ZOH v Pekingu, v tureckom Erzurume si však muži, ženy ani dably postup nevybojovali. V budúcom roku bude pre slovenský curling vrcholom marcová paralympiáda, kde sa zúčastní tím pod vedením Radka Ďuriša.

In their sixth game, Norway got their first win on the board when they beat Netherland's by 9-4, in Tuesday afternoon's tenth round-robin session of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada. Other winners in this session included hosts Canada, who beat Germany by 7-4 and Switzerland, who beat United States by 7-4.

Scotland defeat defending champions at Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's championship

Scotland recovered from three straight losses to hand defending champions Sweden their first defeat in Tuesday morning's ninth round-robin session of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada. This session had only three games and, as the Scots beat Sweden by 6-5, Italy had a 10-4 win over Norway, while Japan beat Korea by 8-7 after an extra end.

First win for China at Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's championship

Monday evening's eighth round-robin session of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada saw China beat Korea by 9-8 to record their first win of the event so far. Elsewhere, defending champions Sweden beat Japan in seven ends by 8-3, while Switzerland were 9-6 winners over Germany.

Undefeated Canada sit alone at the top of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's rankings

Canada beat Norway by 10-2 in Monday afternoon's seventh round-robin session of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada, and this result restores the hosts as clear undefeated leaders, on five wins. It also keeps Norway at the foot of the table, still looking for their first win.
